چکیده
Abstract DC magnetron sputtering was used to deposit titanium (Ti), nitride (TiN), and Ti/TiN multilayer coatings on Ti6Al4V alloy substrates. The have 1, 4, 10, 16, 32 modulation periods respectively. SEM were analyze the surface cross-sectional micro-features of coatings. Electrochemical tests carried out 3.5 wt% NaCl solution at room temperature. resistance coating reaches maximum value, which is 6 times that substrate, 2.4 a single layer titanium, 5 nitride. With increase period, charge transfer firstly then decreases, period closely related morphology.

Corrosion of Cold Spray Deposited Copper Coating on Steel Substrates
The corrosion behavior of copper cold spray coatings on a carbon steel substrate was compared to that of commercially available wrought copper under the conditions anticipated in a nuclear waste repository. Corrosion potential and linear polarization resistance measurements were conducted over 90 d to 120 d in 3.0 mol/L NaCl under anoxic (1) and oxygenated-toanoxic (2) conditions to simulate th...
متن کاملSTUDY ON CORROSION BEHAVIOR OF COBALT NANO COMPOSITE COATINGS
Metal matrix nano composite coatings possess enhanced properties such as corrosion and wear resistance. This paper aims to study the corrosion behavior of pure Co and Co-BN nano composite coatings deposited with different particles concentration (5-20 g L-1) on copper substrates using electroplating technique. Morphology and elemental compositions of the coatings were investigated by means of s...

متن کاملCorrosion resistance of CrAlN and TiAlN coatings deposited by lateral rotating cathode arc
In this work, CrAlN and TiAlN coatings were deposited on stainless steel substrates by a vacuum arc reactive deposition process from two lateral rotating elemental aluminum and chromium or titanium cathodes in a flowing pure nitrogen atmosphere. The composition and crystalline structure of the as-deposited coatings was analyzed by energy dispersive analysis of X-rays (EDX) and X-ray diffraction...
